NEW BLOG SITE!!! NEW BLOG SITE!!!!

David and I have been talking forever about getting a more "custom" blog... we just could never find the time to get around to it! So when I went to Jacksonville last week to shoot a party for The Knott Magazine (pictures coming soon!), I had some time to work on it! We are very excited to release www.thesublimeblog.com! I know there will be many more hours that go into this.. and alot of tweaks made.. but we have been shooting so much and I want to post it all on a clean fresh new site.

So please... if you are subscribed to us, or if you follow us on your google reader.. switch it to our new domain name so you can get all the updates and posts that will be coming soon! We have been shooting like crazy this past week so we have alot to catch up on!

Leah & James Sneak Peak

What a weekend! Courtney and I had four shoots and ended up with over 100 gigs of pictures! Leah and James' Pensacola Beach wedding was amazing. This was truly one of the most personal and fun families that I have worked with. More to come! - DAVID

Our week....

This weekend has been crazy... and it is only Friday! This weekend alone we have: 3 weddings.. 1 engagement shoot.. 1 newlywed session... one bridal session...swimming lessons with Austin.. and of course his baseball game. Then church on Sunday! We are so busy.. but we love it! So needless to say.. I have alot of blogging to catch up on.. Brittany and & Megan.. your slideshows are coming!

We are excited to announce that we have made a new blog.. and will be un-veiling it soon! We are so excited to release it.. so keep an eye out followers and be ready to switch to our new domain name!

Until then... here is a sneak peak from tonight's wedding in Rosemary Beach.. Casey was GORGEOUS- and I am super excited about blogging her wedding as well!

What an awesome family! Courtney and I cater to so many couples traveling to our beaches to get married, so we make casual family portraits available for the entire family. This is a great gift that our clients can give to their families! Leah's wedding is tomorrow, but they wanted to get these fun portraits done today. Ashley & Jeff Engagements

Well, I left Ashley a voicemail and text today saying that I did not know if we could shoot due to the weather. There was a fast moving storm sweeping through. We talked for a while about our options while I searched online. I found an hour gap between rain storms. We decided to move forward. After all, Ashley just finished her hair and makeup test run. I gave her props for scheduling her sessions before her engagement shoot. - DAVID

Tara & Govan are Married!

What an awesome couple! Govan & Tara are such a fun and happy couple. We had a blast walking around Rosemary Beach taking pictures. They made my job seem easy. - DAVID

Another Cinco De Mayo with Jacob

This year, like last year, Jacob asked me to document his Cinco De Mayo tradition. These guys grow out their mustaches for a couple weeks. I asked them to come over to the house to shoot. Enjoy! - DAVID

Ashley & Tim's Engagements

Ashley & Tim are engaged! Courtney and I first met these two in Spanish Fort, Alabama. We knew that they were a happy couple from the start. Their families are incredible too. The engagement session was originally scheduled for one hour. We ended up shooting for over two hours! Congrats guys! - David

Ok, first let me just say that I am obsessed with the photos you took! I can't wait to see the rest! You are so talented! We seriously had the best day ever and I am so happy that you captured every moment! The slideshow was a hit, everyone is still talking about it! Also, I feel like a facebook celebrity, so many people posted albums of our wedding and everyone loves all the images you posted!

Prayers for Police!

Many outside of our community may not know that we lost two of our deputies recently. Today, I was heading home from Ashley and Tim's shoot when I stopped for the passing funeral. Seeing the hundreds of policy officers passing moved me to tears. Please, pray for these officers' families and the other men and women that serve to protect us. - DAVID

Meredith & Ryan Sneak Peak

I have been trying to get Meredith & Ryan's April 18th sneak peak up for a few days now. They told me that last week was not a big deal because they had no way of getting online while away on their honeymoon:) They are back today...so here you go! They were gorgeous!
